What we do
Finding a remodeler for a bathroom in Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth or Jamestown usually means calling around, waiting for callbacks, and trying to compare quotes that describe different jobs. We take one step out of that. You tell us the project once, and we pass it to a registered local remodeler who does that kind of work in your town. They call you, visit, measure and give you a written estimate.
What we are not
- We are not a contractor. We do not do the work, and you contract directly with the remodeler.
- We are not a lead list. Your request goes to one remodeler, not to a dozen companies that all call at once.
- We do not charge homeowners. The request and the estimate are free. Remodelers pay us for the introduction.
What we ask of remodelers
Before we send anyone a homeowner's request, we expect them to:
- Be registered with the Rhode Island Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board.
- Carry liability insurance.
- Use licensed plumbers and electricians for licensed work, and pull the required permits.
- Work in Newport County and take on the type of project you described.
- Give a written estimate before work starts.
We still encourage you to check any contractor yourself at crb.ri.gov. It takes a minute and it is the single best protection you have.
What happens after you reach out
- You call or send the short form with your town, project and timing.
- We pass your request to a registered remodeler who fits the job.
- They contact you to set up a free in-home estimate.
- You decide. There is no obligation to hire anyone.
